The end of another working week means the release of another episode of the Dicebreaker Podcast. In this entry, Matt, Wheels and Meehan continue many fine traditions such as throwing shade on Monopoly, veering off into ridiculous and nonsensical tangents and commiserating Meehan on losing yet another board game.
Somehow, we also manage to actually talk about tabletop gaming, including discussions on Arkham Horror: The Card Game - and why it’s a great co-op experience - the wonders of Forgotten Waters and yet more games of Terraforming Mars.
Of course, Meehan ventures out in her chopper once again to bring the latest news stories, with this week’s haul featuring headlines on the recent delay to Gen Con - as well as the interesting split approach being taken by its organisers - why Z-Man Games’ decision to cancel its Euro Classics line is entirely unsurprising and upcoming licensed tabletop adaptations of video games series Sonic the Hedgehog and Sea of Thieves. Other news stories covered include the newly announced Infinity battle royale board game and a Lord of the Rings Exit: The Game entry.
Last, but certainly not least, the trio crack into your questions about whether doing calculations in a board game is ever a fun experience and which board game expansions we like best.
