Pathfinder RPG’s Complete Character Chronicles are character sheet, rules and diary in a single book
Journalman level.
Record every aspect of your Pathfinder RPG player character in a single tome with a new collection of Complete Character Chronicles books coming to Kickstarter later this year.
The upcoming tabletop roleplaying books provide players with a total overview of their Pathfinder 2E class and sections that they can fill with unique information about their character.
The Complete Character Chronicles contain all the rules about a specific character class, taken from the Player’s Guide and Advanced Player’s Guide for Pathfinder: Second Edition. Also included is an index of all the available feats and spells that the character’s class can take, stripping out any irrelevant information.
Other aspects of the Complete Character Chronicles series of books include several character sheets designed specifically for the related class. There’s also a section for players to use for writing notes about their character, making maps or any other pieces of additional information they’d like to save in the book.
There are even additional elements to help with character development, such as birth and death certificates or a floor plan for a wizard’s tower if your character happens to be a wizard.
Pathfinder: Second Edition is the latest iteration of the fantasy RPG, released last August - ten years after the launch of the original first edition, which was based on the 3.5 edition ruleset of Dungeons & Dragons. Set in a world populated by elves, goblins and other suitably fantastical creatures, players are able to become sorcerers, fighters, alchemists and other character roles on a quest to explore the land.
The second edition of Pathfinder includes a number of general gameplay improvements to make the game easier to learn and play, several inspired by sci-fi spin-off Starfinder. The updated RPG has also seen the release of new Pathfinder Adventure Paths - pre-made scenarios that offer a tailored campaign across multiple chapters.
The Complete Character Chronicles will be published by Beadle & Grimm’s in partnership with Pathfinder publisher Pazio. Co-founded by actor and celebrity D&D player Matthew Lillard, Beadle & Grimm’s has previous worked with Wizards of the Coast - the company behind Dungeons & Dragons - to release special editions of D&D 5E sourcebooks such as Eberron: Rising from the Last War and Baldur’s Gate: Descent into Avernus, designed to provide players and dungeon masters with everything they needed to run the campaigns.
The first Complete Character Chronicles will include books for the wizard, fighter, rogue and cleric classes in Pathfinder: Second Edition. The books will launch on Kickstarter this autumn.
