Dicebreaker’s all new Dungeons & Dragons 5E actual play series continues in episode three, as Matt, Lolies, Sara, Wheels and Meehan face off against the many challenges presented by their illustrious dungeon master - Mr. Johnny Chiodini.
Having met each another and accepted a daring mission to free the enslaved dinosaurs of the famous arena, our party of brave adventurers - made up of Morbos the Tiefling, Mist the Tabaxi, Tim the Goblin, Erik the sorcerer and Fizz the Kenku wizard - found themselves infiltrating the dino prison in the last episode.
Using an ingenious mixture of disguise and deception, including a particularly excellent bit of acting by Morbos and Erik, the team got inside the inner walls of the arena and located where the dinosaurs were being held captive. Unable to resist the lure of dino-riding, the group quickly broke into the creatures’ cages and made fast friends with those kept within.
This, of course, meant that everyone got to ride on a dinosaur, which is pretty cool when you think about it.
The downside of dino-riding is that it can make you a lot more conspicuous - something our party of adventurers soon found out when they were discovered by the owner of the arena himself!
In this latest episode, our story picks up right at this dramatic moment as the Dungeonbreaker crew need to think fast about what they’re going to do. Should Al alert all the other guards, then our brave heroes are surely doomed to become some dino’s dinner! You’ll have to watch the episode to find out how - and if - they manage to escape.
As the first season of Dungeonbreaker continues to air, you can expect to find weekly episodes on our website and our YouTube channel every Saturday.
